The Science of Deduction

I'm Florian Fischer, the world's only consulting logician.

I'm not going to go into detail about how I do what I do because chances are you wouldn't understand. If you've got a problem that you want me to solve, then contact me. Interesting cases only please.

This is what I do:

  1. I observe everything.
  2. From what I observe, I deduce everything.
  3. When I've eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how mad it might seem, must be the truth..

If you need assistance, contact me and we'll discuss its potential.

Philosophy of Science

A main topic is the philosophy of science in general. I am especially interested in the philosophy of physics. The laws of nature are in focus of my research. The nomic necessity they posses seems to be the holy grail.

Logic is of most importance for philosophy. Especially formal logic played an important role in my philosophical education. After learning from Prof. Dr. Rainer Stuhlmann-Laeisz, Associate Professor Thomas Müller and PD Dr. Joachim Bromand, I became Tutor of logic.

Then I went for The Logic Year to the ILLC.

Now I'm working with Prof. Dr. Elke Brendel.

Philosophy of Time

The philosophy of time is another hobby-horse of mine. In particular persistence over time and the problem of change seemingly got a new touch since the special theory of relativity arose.

To put the cards on the table about the nature of time: I pretty much would like to be a presentist, but it's hard to get this theory work. Notwithstanding it's the best we got.
